OTHMAN ROMANO is a Milan-based design studio founded in 2025, focused on interior design, architectural concepts, and custom furniture creation. The studio develops expressive spatial languages through sculptural and architectural forms, where color plays a central role in shaping atmosphere and identity, combining materials and influences drawn from contemporary art and sculptural practices to create distinctive, character-driven spaces.
The studio approaches each project as a dialogue between form, material, and space, where architecture and interiors are conceived as one continuous gesture. Its work is defined by bold compositions, sculptural volumes, and a strong sensitivity to proportion and rhythm. Color is used as a structural tool rather than decoration, shaping perception and guiding movement through space.
An Italian–Iraqi interior designer with a multicultural background, she grew up in Iraq before moving abroad to pursue her studies. She studied architecture in Dubai and San Diego, developing a strong foundation in spatial and structural thinking. She later continued her education in interior design between Berlin and Milan, refining her creative and technical approach. Her work reflects a blend of diverse cultural influences, combining architectural sensibility with a refined and contemporary design perspective. She has worked in Milan for several design brands, gaining experience across interior and furniture design projects. Over the years, she has built a solid professional background within the Milan design scene. This experience has shaped a detail-oriented and concept-driven approach to her work. She is known for translating ideas into spatial narratives that balance function, materiality, and expression. Her practice is deeply informed by experimentation, cultural layering, and a sensitivity to proportion and form. Today, she continues to develop projects that merge architectural thinking with artistic intuition.

“Color is not an addition, it is the soul of space taking form.
It shapes silence into emotion, and structure into feeling.
Within it, walls breathe, light moves, and space begins to speak.
To me, color is where architecture learns how to feel.”
